This is definitely the best restaurant I've been to on the Coast. Wait staff and bartender are fantastic, the food and cocktails are so dang good. It's a shame it's so tiny because I want to be able to go here all the time but it's hard to sneak in without a reservation during peak hours. Highly recommend for solo diners and pairs to try and grab seats at the bar.

Outstanding service followed up with outstanding food. Quality fish for a good price. Ambiance was pleasant. If I am ever back in this area I will make reservations.

Wow! What a delightful experience we had! The beautiful wood interior with riverfront view set the tone of elegance mingled with warmth. The creative cocktail options made us sad we were traveling. We wanted to try them all! I settled on the pomegranate jalapeño margarita! We shared a started of delectable clam steamers and an entree of arroz con Mariscol bowl.... The broth on both dishes was divine! Each had fresh slices of focaccia bread for dipping! And yes, I slipped the rest of the broth from my bowl! No regrets! We will be back!

This was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had and I'm so sad that I can't have it again anytime soon! My sister and I stopped here on a roadtrip through Oregon. We didn't make any reservations because we weren't sure what time we'd get into town and lucked out that we were seated immediately, about an hour before close. The food and service was absolutely phenomenal. The crab cakes were absolutely amazing. The best I've ever had. For entrees, we got the halibut fish and chips and the crab encrusted halibut. Both were absolutely amazing. Incredible meals. That crab encrusted halibut with a side of potatoes was just a perfect meal. The whole time, our server was attentive and helpful and just wonderful. Honestly, I would do a weekend trip to Oregon just to go back to this restaurant again.

Great flavorful food. Had calamari for the appetizer which was delicious! Then the main course was the crusted Halibut yummy! Ended with a good cup of coffee and their carrot cake! OMG! Service was excellent too! Thank you Blythe!!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Oregon! Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation. Very cute spot, I love getting a window seat. The food is excellent! The duck is always my pick. Their rice is so good, I don't know what they put in it, but I always find myself craving it! The lamb dishes are excellent as well. They also have a full bar and a great drink menu. The dessert is always delicious! It does get a bit crowded as it's a smaller building but it's worth it. Service is always great! You won't regret coming here. We have been going Valentine's Day the past couple of years and will continue that tradition.

Wow, what a great surprise, great service and great location, we got the Calamari Fingers apologizer and I must say it was the best Calamari I've had in years, we both had the Clam Chowder, which was outstanding and the Crab encrusted Halibut with Yukon mashed Potatoes and Cesar Salad, everything was absolutely outstanding and amazing, we had the Double Chocolate Cake for dessert and it was to die for!!!! Super busy, small place with beautiful views of the River and Bridge with outstanding service, we managed to get a cancellation and window seating but otherwise reservations are a must days in advance, our second time back we made reservations three days ahead and our second experience was just like the first!!

This was my fifth time here and I will say confidently that this is one of the best places for fish in Oregon. I have had several items here over the years..but their signature dish is my favorite...the crab encrusted halibut. Do you like tender fresh halibut? How about the sweet goodness of Dungeness crab? Now combine those two and you have their masterpiece...I am telling you this dish is just delicious. It comes with a small salad and for a couple of extra dollars your choice of rice or Yukon mash. And the best news is this is a dinner under $30...not bad these days! They also have a lovely bar and a great desert menu. This place can get busy so reservations are a good idea...but you will not be sorry about stopping here for a terrific meal!

Like many reviews have already stated, a reservation is a must at Waterfront Depot Restaurant. We called a couple times to try and make a reservation but no one answered the phone. We ultimately decided to try our luck and pop into the restaurant to try and get a table. We initially wanted an indoor table and was told there was a 45-minute to an hour long wait. We were visiting from out-of-town and wanted to explore Florence so this was fine by us. There is a shaded waiting area and I also saw a couple of chairs near the water that a person could sit at and wait for a table. After walking around Downtown for a bit we returned and the host offered us an outdoor table that was surrounded by a plexiglass frame. It was a warmer day so we were okay with this. It was pretty busy in the restaurant so it took a while for our waitress to greet us and take drink orders. I decided on the special that night - a 15 oz ribeye steak, salad and mashed potatoes. Really great steak! Going to back to what I said about a reservation, throughout the evening we watched person after person walk up thinking they would get a table and being told the wait was now 2 hours. So, go early or make a reservation for Waterfront Depot Restaurant!
